Hidekazu
Hayakawa is Head of CIBA Vision Japan. Mr. Hayakawa is a seasoned executive
with more than 30 years of international business experience and has a
broad range of general management experience within several industries,
most recently as Senior Director of Alix Partners, a U.S.-based consulting
firm specializing in turnaround management.
Prior to that he was Representative Director and President of DePuy Japan, a group company of Johnson & Johnson specializing in orthopedic and neuron surgical medical devices. Mr. Hayakawa held senior executive positions at Johnson Japan, a Japanese subsidiary of consumer goods manufacturer S.C. Johnson & Son Inc . He was responsible for the Pet Care business and the functional groups.
Mr. Hayakawa is a graduate of Waseda University where he earned his bachelor’s
in Economics. He also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
